蚊を大量に退治するには

でかいバケツなどを日陰にたくさん置いて、
ボウフラの発生場所を作ってやる。
そして、孵化前に水を地面に捨ててボウフラを干からびさせる。
これを数回繰り返すと家の周囲の蚊はほとんどいなくなるそうだ。

気をつけるのは水の交換を１週間間隔にすること。
水捨てを忘れると孵化して、逆に蚊の発生源になる。
また、ボウフラの湧いた水は必ず地面に捨てて殺すこと。
側溝等に流すとそこで孵化してしまう。

これの発展型で、バケツに水と銅を入れておけば水の交換を忘れてもボウフラは羽化しない
蚊は産卵エネルギーを無駄にすることになり勢力を減じて行く
なお、銅を多めに入れないと羽化する場合があるので注意
太いスピーカーケーブルの銅線をほぐしたものがお奨め
